Code of Conduct
How we expect My Film Slate to be used.
Last updated June 13, 2026
My Film Slate is built to help artists and filmmakers do their best work on funding applications. This Code of Conduct sets out how we expect the Service to be used. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.
What we expect
- Use the Service honestly. The work you submit through funders is your own. My Film Slate helps you organize and prepare it — it doesn't fabricate it, and neither should you.
- Respect others. If you interact with our team or, in the future, with other users, do so respectfully. No harassment, hate, threats, or abuse.
- Respect the platform. Use My Film Slate as intended.
What's not allowed
- Breaking the law, or using the Service to help anyone else break the law.
- Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours.
- Probing, scanning, scraping, overloading, or otherwise interfering with the Service or its security.
- Uploading malware, or content you don't have the right to use.
- Reverse-engineering or copying the Service to build a competing product, except where the law expressly permits.
- Misrepresenting your identity or your eligibility for a funding program.
Consequences
If you break this Code of Conduct, we may warn you, restrict features, suspend your account, or terminate your access — with notice where reasonable, and immediately where necessary to protect the Service or other people.
